War Memorial of Australia

Hola. Since I could not update with my 1st day of Aidiladha, let me continue with my second pit stop on my visit at Canberra. Have to ask for the photos from my friend since I was lazy to use my camera today. Hehe. Anyway, that's not a big deal, life must go on. So here comes the second part of my journey in Canberra. Hoping that this would help for those who are thinking of having their 'cuti2 in OZ'. Selamat~

Cik abang Nazdrol kita bersama dengan cik abang askar dan cik kuda yang diberi nama 'Simpson'. Kuda nih diorang guna ntok bawak bekalan mknn n orang sakit mase perang dulu. Lupe plak bile perang tuh. But that was what i understood from the explanation stated at the site. Kire Kude nih amat berjasa la membantu mereka di dalam perang.

So inilah die view kat dalam War Memorial tuh. Cantik kan? Nmpk mcm masjid pon ade. Mcm istana pon ade. Looks massive but actually, there was nothing there. Tmpat tuh mcm kosong.
Yang nih kat luar bangunan. Tak sure what is it. Mcm submarine jer. Haha. Well, i love to take photos but hate to read. So it explains kan? :P
Panjang sungguh meriam nih. What? Dont know what 'meriam' is? Owh sorry. Some of u guys might called it as 'cannon'.Get it? Good... Pandai pon!

Tgk perkataan kt blakang model kita nih - MALAYA-! Yup, kat dinding tuh diorang tulis country2 yang diorang penah antar askar diorang ntok tolong. Tetibe rase bangge sbb ade name tuh walopon sebenonye kite hanya sekadar meminta pertolongan. hehe
Oh yer. Kat dinding nih la diorang tulis sumer name askar2 diorang yang terkorban semasa berjuang. Suke dgn bunge2 yang diorang letak kt situ skali. Ia bagi effect melankolik but at the same time attracting people to come to the wall. Ye la, if it is too plain, less people will come. Tak gittew kawan2?

Askar yang telah dibatukan. Mungkin inilah Si Tanggang yang selalu kita sebut2kan. Kerana menderhaka, kene sumpah jadik batu!

Nih plak Cik Abang Navy. Mungkin juga disumpah untuk tros melekat kt dinding sebagai perhiasan. Wah, sungguh gagah!
Ini plak diorang kate kubur 'an unknown soldier killed in the war of 1914-1918'. Scary jugak kalo dok sorang2 kt situ sbb nih kubur btol. Buatnye tetibe btol2 ade org bgn, tak ke terkencit korang kt situ jugak? huihh. Nauzubillah :P
Since dh puas, kitorang nk balik la. Nih opposite view of the War Memorial from the early photo. Tmpat nih mmg cntik!
Owh mase on the way nk kluar tuh, ade la kolam nih. N diorang letak some sort bende yang bole kuarkan api. Nmpk tak bende bulat tuh? Kt tgh2 tuh bole kuar api. One of gas companies in OZ yang buat tuh kt sini. N yg paling best, kt dlm kolam nih byk gile syiling! Kalo la aku bole turun n kutip all the coins, mak ai! Sure cover return tiket aku ke Melbourne. Kalau la...

So sekian sahaja tentang my 2nd pit stop in Canberra. Tuh je la kot. Sbb yg laen2 tuh mcm tmpat kecik2 n tak de la grand2 sgt. Stakat stop amek gmbar pastuh smbung jalan. Jadik, for those yg nk pi Canberra, it is a very nice city. More like our Putrajaya but totally opposite of Sydney and Melbourne. Some of my friends said that it is like a dead city! Huii,.. Kesian? hehe. But what important the most, when people ask u have u been to Canberra, u can proudly say 'Canberra? It's like a dead city but nothing to lose if u go there mate!' tatatatata
