I sleep like a baby

Just got back from work.

I told my collegue at the cafe that I was not as fit as before. I'm usually could stay up at night until morning doing my assigment. But now, after I get home from work, I would rather go to my bed and leave all my assigments just like that. I don't have the courage or energy to stay up. Owh I just love to sleep!

But after sharing the problem with my friend, then I realized that one of the reason is because Ive stopped taking the supplements. I'm usually take the man multivitamin, fish oil, vitamin c and brain's supplements. But, I stopped taking all of them after I moved to my new place. The only reason was just because of the laziness in me!

I'm gonna start taking all of them back after this.

Apologies

Hey people,

I'm sure you guys love the smell of Cappuccino, the taste of Mocha or the darkness of Long Black. Espresso coffee, part of the culture of being an Australian.

Everywhere you go, you'll definitely found people selling the coffee especially in the cafe. Coffee is like our 'teh tarik', but has variety of types to suit the needs of different person. Latte, Flat White and Short Black, are those familiar names for the cafe barista.

What makes those coffee different from each other? Well, based on what I had learned, the main factor of different taste and color is due to the amount of milk you put into the coffee. Apart from that, additional ingredient such as chocolate powder and type of milk are also contributing to the changes in coffee.

Anyway, how does the story of coffee is related to me?

Yesterday, it was my first time making coffee for my customers. Before this, I always passed that important job to a friend of mine who is already expert in it. However, she was on leave due to personal reason, left me to handle it alone.

" 3 Cappuccino please"

" What size do u want mdm? Any sugar?"

" Do you put 2-shots for the large right?"

"Yup"

" Just get me three large Cappuccino then. No Sugar"

"Ok sure :)"

There went my first conversation with a customer regarding the espresso coffee. I behaved like normal, looking just right an expert in making coffee. I blended the coffee and put it in the machine. The skim milk was frothed.

Three large take away cups were taken and there went my first three Cappucinnos.

"Thank you so much"

"Have a good day"

But then,

I started worrying about what was happened. A small voice told me that there were something wrong with the coffee. Yup, I was pretty sure about it!

"Auntie (my boss), do we have to change the coffee in the coffee machine everytime we make a new cup of coffee?"

"Absolutely! If not, you would spoiled the taste."

Oh no. That was my huge mistake! Bad starting for a beginner. I am sorry Mdm. Really sorry. Didn't mean to spoil your mood. There wentmy first lesson about the coffee making precess.

Frankly speaking, it started to pity the Australian woman. My mistake. I am apologies with what I did. And now, I am hoping that she would get something else in return. Something good for her. Aku bermohon padamu Ya Allah...

Kopek Bawang

Hey people out there, I'm proudly to say that I am now know how to 'kopek bawang'! Impressive rite? The work that usually causing people to cry, giving them trouble, making them immediately looking for the tissue, or even make their hand smells 'really good' has already been done by me! Formally, I could say that this is actually my 1st time learning how to 'kopek bawang'. Yes, I have done some 'kopek bawang' before but that was not in the proper way! haha. Thanks to the owner of the cafe that I'm working now, Auntie Aida.

Owh btw, when I 'malu2' asking her how to 'kopek bawang', her immediate reply was,

"Kat rumah kau ade maid eh?"
"Haha, mak saye housewife la auntie "

Another conversation which made me 'tercengang seketika' took place here as well,

Watak: Auntie ( the owner), May ( Rakan sekerja -Chinese ), ME

Auntie: Fi, kau takde gelfren eh? (sambil memasak di dapur)
ME: Mane ade auntie, saye nih single lg. ( sedang tekun mengopek bawang )
Auntie: Hish ko nih, org cantik mcm nih takkan la takde gelfren??? (*merase la aku nih chantique! haha*)
ME: Hehe (*tersipu2 malu*)

Tiba2, May yg sedang sibuk membasuh pinggan terus menyampuk,
May: Gelfren takda, blakang2 simpan boyfren! HAHAHA *die ketawe dgn rakusnye*

Auntie dgn aku hanya mampu memandang sesame sendiri!
ME: (*berkata di dalam hati*) wah mkcik nih! bukan maen lagey! (*smbil tersenyum2 haha*)

Enough of drama, lets have a qoute of the day, amacam?

"Picture speaks louder than words"
Since I'm sooo into photography, this quote sounds really good to me.
Oh ya, if that is the case, what can u guys say about this pic?
(*tipu dose, mati sekse, masuk nerake*)

First day at work

Yehaaa! My first day and experience working in Aussie. Service staff for the 'Kaki Lima Cafe'. Start kerje at 10.00am and finished at 2.30pm. Best! Memang best!

To Malay communities in Sydney, 'Kaki Lima' is very familiar with them especially during breakfast time. Here, lots of Malay food such as Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Roti Telur, Murtabak, etc. are served for them to try.

Yea, that's me! Ada gaya tak?

And this is cik Fatin, my workmate of the day. Asyik2 muke die je kan? Haihh...

The dining area. More likely the kopitiam style. Small but condusive! And comfortable as well.

This photo was taken from the main entrance.

Yeah! Malay traditional 'kuih muih'. Mendapat sambutan ramai!!! Yummy Yumm Yumm...

From left clockwise : beef curry, chicken curry, chicken rendang, beef rendang, sambal tumis ikan bilis, dhal. These are basicallly the dishes that go with the Nasi Lemak - the famous order by customers.

The toppings for the Penang Laksa, Mee Rebus, Mee Kari etc.

Coffee maker - still havent learned how to use it yet. Kinda hard for the first time but I'm sure, it's gonna be easy after a few try.

Coffee Maker

So basically, my first day working at a small cafe in Sydney went very well. I really enjoy my time there and what important is, the owner and the workers there are very friendly and helpful. I didnt even feel that it was actually my first day knowing them all. Thanks so much!
