i was shocked when i read about the drastic increment of petrol price in Malaysia in utusan online. my 1st thought was 'nape jadik cmnih? bkn semalam kate nk bg subsidi n minyak naek bulan 8?' come on, one day before that shocking announcement, the same newspaper told us that we wont be burdened with the oil price since the government will surely subsidize it for us. i took that as a promise but just 24 hrs after that, this is what happened to all Malaysian.
well, i'm not the one who studies economics or anything regarding this issue. to be franked, my course is totally different from this. but it is a common understanding for everyone especially when it is involving with our daily life. eventhough i still cannot be considered of as one of the main victims, but i'm surely know how do my parents feel about this.
an increment to rm2.70 per litre with 30sen of subsidization, plus with yearly subsidization which i think worth only for 10days (total amount of money u spend for petrol for 10 days = subsidy from government) is totally the best surprise of the year! or should i say for the decade or more than that? haha. the only thing is bordering me now is how my family gonna coop with this. since we are not from those with enermous 4 stories bungalow, this situation will surely effecting our daily life! with all my brothers and sisters are still schooling and my dad as the only source of money for the family, this is gonna be really hard for all of us!
'takpe la bang, study je betol2 kat sane tuh. tak payah pikir sgt pasal sumer nih,' the words came out from my mom when i called her last 2 days. eventhough it looked like there was nothing should be worried about, but it did not sounded like it suppose to be.........................
