Sambal

Can you imagine if you are eating Nasi Lemak without the sambal? It would be weird since sambal is already part of Nasi Lemak. Without sambal, there is nothing extra-ordinary between the Nasi Lemak and the normal steamed rice.

As for me, I am a person who loves to eat spicy food. The more spicy the food is, the better! That is why, sambal can be said as part of me. Everytime when I am eating, I would look for sambal. Without it, the meal gonna taste less-tasty.

I love eating sambal especially with the fried-chicken. Not the 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' but the normal and traditional fried chicken where you have to marinate the chicken with the tumeric powder + salt before frying it in the pan. Besides, as for some people, they would love to put some other spices with the marinated-mixture which would make the end result of the fried chicken become much much better. As for Indonesian, they call this as 'Kalasan' fried chicken and it is definitely one of my favourite!

Back to the story, I love eating 'Kalasan' fried chicken with sambal. There is one shop here in Sydney - 'Ayam Goreng 99' which I usually go to have this all-time favourite dish. It is also having the most spicy sambal in town which is always being something that I crave to have! Before you guys try, just make sure that you are ready because I myself could actually feel how spicy the sambal is. Bear in mind, the normal sambal Nasi Lemak is just nothing as compared to this one. They must have using tonnes of chillies while making it.

Anyway, enough of the intro! haha it is wayy to looongggg!

My main point here is, what will happen to you when you had a lot of sambal in a day? And please imagine that sambal is the one you bought from 'Ayam Goreng 99'? Imagine imagine imagine...!

If you cant, try it and make sure that you are full-awake when you have your NATURE CALL every morning! THANK YOU!

Look here! Finally, i found 'asam pedas' in Sydney. My wish is granted. hehe
Eventhough it is AUD15 per serve, I'm willing to sacrifice that for my favourite food! Yumm Yumm. Self-reward! Yes it is! After so many months, living without asam pedas, the price that I paid can still be considered as CHEAP!

Memandangkan tadi adalah 9 Zulhijjah iaitu Hari Arafah, kitorang bersepakat untuk berpuasa. Owh ini adalah keratan hadith tentang puasa sunat pada hari Arafah.

anyway, just wanna introduce another fish shop that i just discovered for u guys to try. located at THE SPOT, Randwick, it is absolutely near compared to fish market. the shop is opposite the cinema and easy to find. the price is affordable and u wont regret since it's gonna blessed u with the absolute full. have fun!

chocol'art yummy!

hello again. and this time, i'm gonna share with u guys about one of the Malaysian favourite spots in Sydney, the chocol'art! just like what u could imagine based on the name, it served all food made of chocolate. located at belmore rd, randwick, it is one of the most attracted place by the locals and us as well. the continuous flow of human beings entering the shop give such a lively atmosphere when we get there. how about the taste? hmmm.. this would be a great experience especially for those with the brand 'chocolate lovers'! as for me who is not-so-in-love with chocolate, they are still fantastic especially the drink - triple chocol'art crush which is turnedto be my favourite! how about the cakes? well, my friends like it. i have no comment regarding that since i'm so allergic with cakes. it would be fine for me for the first 5 scoops and that's it! i can't take it anymore. dont get me wrong, it is not because of the taste, but it is plainly because of me myself. lidah org kampung, hehehe. anyway, here are some of the tempting look of what azri, hani and me had last night. enjoy~

Indonesian Night Market

yeah! this is the time i've been waiting for since i saw the poster about the night market. i was craving for SATAY PADANG!!! i started to like it when i tried it last year - at this night market as well. what made me fall in love with this food is because of the sauce on top of the satay. it is different from what i've been eaten before. it is like the combination of black pepper and some kind of special sauce. on top of that, it is spicy! yeah. i love spicy food!! i did asked my indonesian friend about this food and she said that back in Medan, it is more spicy compared to what i had here. well, u know, matsallehs here dont like spicy food. too bad, we are the minority.

apart from that, i did try for coconut sago as the desert. at first, i thought it is gonna be served cold but i was wrong. the taste? frankly, i dont like it! i felt like wasting my 3dollar! aarghh.. it's already late to complain though. huhu
